It took me a long time to decide for either IWC or Panerai. I like both alot and have quite a few (15 IWC's and 16 PAMS!). My final choice is my DSN 177 Swiss:

I went through my folder of "Got to Get" watches and this has been my dream watch for some time...

Funny thing. Going through the images, I found myself very surprised to see this watch a couple times...

This is my all time favourite watch;

I'm also lucky enough to own one exactly as you see it above.

I chose it as I loved the way it looked, it wasn't too ostentatious, was a watch for people who knew quality when the saw it and I have NEVER seen a rep that comes even close to the original.
