ive been trying to get hold of TVT for a few months.. he hasnt logged into RWG since July i think it was... I'm hopeing he'll have some more recent stories!
Stuff is dirt cheap in china.. problem is that most of us dont live there! lol It's the shipping and 'handling' and profits that jacks the price up by the time we get it. I think D4M has been doing a great job to try to get some of these items to us for the 'real' price they are over there... |

ohh I just realized I have a friend who moved back to china! maybe i'll ask him to pick some stuff up for me!
 not sure if he'll know what I'm talking about and it would be hard to explain exactly what i want..  I guess it's still better getting the chance to look around and pick stuff up for yourself... one day...

For years now I have held the opinion that our little world is just that, little. I have express it on threads in the past. But most didnt want to believe. T4D has confirmed it now. Thanks T4D! But to answer the OP, in 2007 the rep market (all reps not just watches) was OVER 250 Billion, and that just in the USA.

I have heard that its even bigger in Italy. Saw a show about once that told how corrupt the Italian customs are, and that there are literally HUNDERDS of containers that pass through Italian customs DAILY!
And of course in China its gigantic!

If you look beyond watches the replica market is infinitely large. There is a BBC 2 part documentary called "The Fake Trade" I would highly recommend it. Tons of good information about this. The worst is the fake pharms market. Fake insulin and needed medications are actually killing people, and sick individuals are profiting. They even make fake eggs in China that are horrible for you. Anywhoo I'd post it but it's way to large.
