have tried taking a few pics and using tracing paper as a difuser seems the best option.

Makes the watch 'smile'.

Any ad for a watch the time is set in that way.

...all very helpful, Pugwash; but, my cheapie Kodak doesn't have a MICRO or a MARCO lens; just a fixed one; makes experimenting VERY interesting (& causes me to say not nice words and other magical chants!) But, I keep trying!! Thanks for the tutoring... .
