Hey all,
I'm new (obviously), so please, be patient w/me, as I've still got a boat load to learn about reps. Until I stumbled onto this site, the only place I was ever able to find reps was on from the local "traders" while travelling in DR (uber-cheap Rolex Day-Date) and Bangkok (Rolex Daytona, Breitling Navitimer), and from some guy on the street in Toronto (Rolex Explorer II). I do love my watches, and I have a fair number of more affordable gens (old Wittnauer, Girard Perregaux, Poljot, random Eastern Block stuff, etc.), but it'll be a while before I can just go drop the cake on a gen Daytona, so I like my reps, too. When I found this site, I was pretty pumped, to say the least. Between the dealer/for sale listings, the knowledge and the "eye for detail", I think this site is an absolute must for newbie rep enthusiasts (like me). I've been lurking on here for a while, so I finally registered the other day. Don't have much to add/say yet, but I've been absorbing all the info I can, so thanks for that. Already been checking out the sale listings, too, so thought I should probably give a wave on here. Just hope I don't get too addicted to this, but... Hmm... Anyway, love the site. I'll try to get some pics up of what I've got in the case (so far) soon.
