My Tag Heuer Grand Carrera Chronograph
bought this rep from a fellow member on the leather strap. whilst i like the leather, i really wanted a bracelet. MReplica hooked me up with that and with a couple of caseback screws as it was missing one.
overall i like this rep. the size is perfect for my wrist and the weight makes the watch feel extremely solid. the dial is beautiful and the bracelet feels solid too. only gripe about the bracelet is the damn pins. i hate these pins that have the internal cylinder holding it in place. i can never get the pins out without damaging some! my other gripe with this watch is the AR coating. probably a manufacturer flaw and since no1 else has mentioned it, it can't be very common. the problem with the AR on mine is the outer coating seems to be very weak and prone to scratching. there are now swirly scratch marks all over the crystal as a result of my cleaning it. and no i didn't clean it with sandpaper - just a regular soft cloth that i use to clean my glasses and other reps. but anyway on to the photos! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() notice the scratch marks on the AR? nothing a good AR treatment from takashi won't fix will be sending it to him once he starts running batches with blueish tints![]() required wrist shot

new tag caliber 17
Hi I also received my tag a few days ago. The AR is really bad and also the dial is not that black. The gens have a brilliant black face. Also mine does not work. The crown does not even go in.
The watch is too big and i regret making the purchase. Timeshop say send it back and they will fix it. More money spent.... |
