Damn!
My Rolex DSSD ordered with Trevors was stopped by French customs. I think I can solve the problem of customs, but the watch seems permanently lost, destroyed by Customs. Especially it bothers me! Losing $ 200 and watch ... I do not know if in future I shall recommend a new replica because of the risk. But there are so many models that I wanted to add to my collection: DSSD, Panarei, J12, Navitimer ... Does anyone have a solution to avoid the French customs? |

Sorry about that.
Maybe just see when a forum member is visiting france and do several at one. If I were headed that way I'd help...so... maybe others would too. Hope you find a solution.

Send it to someone in the UK. Our customs are as friendly as it will get. Nearly anything passes through here.

Note that if you use Precious Time you will need to pay premium.

It sure is better than losing a watch but I tend to disagree about the price. On a certain watch I was quoted $28 more than what Josh and Andrew were offering but he's one hell of an alternative if you are in a customs problem zone so if money is not an issue go for him OP

You can also use MR that will resend you a pracel if the first one is taken by customs.
I personnaly think that due to the number of parcels going through customs every day you should not have any problem buying again from a trusted dealer outside of EU. If you are scared of having your name in some sort of "black list" Just my 2 cts!

How do you know your watch has been destroyed? Did you received a notice?

It's probably in perfect shape (being worn by a guy who works in customs, now wearing a new watch.....).
