Re: The pilworks Collection
YESSSSS,
thank you very much Spirit. it was definitely a goal to impress you with this little pic endeavor. knowing my camera was not exactly the best for this task my strategy was to find the best environments and backgrounds for my pictures. that's one of the reasons it took me so long to put this post together. i for sure wanted a water theme with the SOSF and the yacht was pure serendipity. |

Re: The pilworks Collection
..and you surely did! Awesome work there, mate!Cameras setup aren´t that important when you have a great eye for the whole scene, and you´ve got it! My gear is a Point&Shoot Sony Cyber-Shot, so I´m not rolling strong with the setup too... Cheers, 8) Spirit.

The Tokyo Flash is a nice departure from the other ones. Very nice.

Re: The pilworks Collection
The blue sub is just awesome. And are there any Tokyoflash watches but with normal numerals, not chinese or japanese or whatever?

TokyoFlash is always changing, and there are other cool led/lcd watches that have regular numerals.
check out ledwatchstop.com as well, they have all the TokyoFlash stuff plus a whole lot more. |

xmas plans to expand
okay, xmas is the target date for expansion.
first, looking at that 38mm white Hublot Big Bang with the bling bezel for the wife, that should ease the pain of the 2 pieces for me... ![]() full on FPO black bezel/orange numbers, ultimately with the rubber strap. AND Panerai 199 or 252 or 243 still undecided here. |

Is that SOSF Modded?
I was just about ready to place my order for a Breitling white face SOSF based on Pillworks beautiful pictures, but then I saw this picture of the exact same watch and it looks so plain! Is it really the exact same watch and pillworks pictures are just really nice or has pillworks watch been modded?

But your beautiful pictures make it look like the 6, 9 and 12 are gold rather than silver. The whole watch looks to have a gold tone to it, but it actually doesn't. You can see what I mean in these 2 pictures.

yeah, i see what you mean, but it's definitely the lighting; i have 2 sources of different color temperature lights in that shot. the other one by the yacht is all sunlight and it looks more normal i guess.
