RG bans me but SFA saves the day!

I have to agree that SFA is extending the hand of friendship in an attempt to get better liaison between the boards on matters that affect all watch buyers in short the banning of scammers from all boards not only the board they scammed.

Think it's about time to leave sleeping dogs lie now what happened in the past with banning etc is all finished with as as clearly seen from the recent RWI down time.

Guys please keep it civil, we are not to be enemies just because we belong with "x" forum - I spend time in all 3 forums and they're all filled with great people like SFA here, colorful characters can be found on all of the forums and God knows I had my fair share of problems with one or two, but it's all good now. There's no best forum, just the one you feel more comfortable with and at home.

Is this guy good or what? No reason why we can't enjoy being members of different boards. Some have past issues, but it should be not thrown up every time there is a post about another board. This..."my board is better than your board" shit is just flat out tired. Sfa, Guan, and many others, are to be commended in leading a new beginning with diplomacy between boards.

Guys thanks for letting me Vent. I am not or will not bash any site for the sake of bashing. I actually like the geek I am was Watchdog on there. I just was really upset as to why I can not get on and no response. SFA thank you for your help, All of RWI thanks for all the great help here. Hey, +1 on that levelman. I have been a somewhat inactive member at RG as long as I have been on RWI. This place is my "home" Board but I too spent time at RG while the RWI server vacation was happening.

I learned two things while that outage was happening:

1. sfa437 is a standout on RG. He's active on 3 boards and RG is lucky to have that guy over there. He's also funny as hell over at 1.1
   
2. Don't kick another board around on your board. It's not cool when you get it or give it, and chances are, you're not right.

Your watchdog ID has been restored to VIP Status and you should be good to go at 1700 hours tomorrow.

Admin there handles IP bans which in your case is set to lift at the above DTG but I also sent a PM to Anubis and J-C with the hopes that they can lift it immediately.

Again the IP range bans were for the protection of the membership and we ask any RG members who are affected to please send me a PM so we can get you back up & running.

Some diplomacy is always good, it helps getting rid of scammers maybe preventing issues and gives everybody the chance of sharing knowledge in a wider world.

I logged on to RWI from a vacation rental. I was banned immediately. I sent a PM to D4M and he had it sorted out quickly. Cause of the auto ban? There was a scammer issue associated with the vacation property's IP address.

One of the reasons that this is my home forum is because of Greg. But after spending more time at the other three fora, I am convinced that the entire rep community is populated with some very good people.

I agree. But there is a lot of history there which spans far beyond the Jandrew thing. There will always be hard feelings because a lot of people from RWI have been banned for unjustifiable reasons. The only way to fix that would be to unban them. Anything else is just words (Ball enters other court).

And SFA. None of this has any bearing on you. Nor do I think TLs comments were directed at you specifically. Not saying this is how he feels. But I'm sure you understand there are people who view an organization in a collective way. In their eyes belonging to an organization is the same as saying you condone and support what they do. That's human nature.
