RG Guys With Log-In Problems

Gents- Louisruby put this up on RWG and considering some guys are RWI/RG dual members I thought it'd be a good idea to post this here:

Guys, it seems there are a few people having issues with their RG logins since the DB crash. Some guys are creating multiple accounts to try and get around it, try these steps instead:

When you login, the login screen may reappear - refresh that screen. It's what I have to do , dunno if it's my browser or what, but I've always needed to do this from my home computer (works fine at work - and it's the same setup - what gives?)

If a refresh of the logon screen doesn't help, there may be an issue with your access - a few members got shifted into a Awaiting Admin Approval section. You need to contact an Admin. I'm only a Super (whatever that is... )Moderator.
SFA, Nembo, etc are all Admins and can do this for you.

Alternatively you can PM me at RG and I'll forward to one for you.

I get email notification of PMs here (I'm not here a lot), so if you need to get me that way then that's good too.

Any further troubles or issues let me know and I'll do my best.

JC is working full time trying to fix this, so don't PM him, he may not have the opportunity to reply. Anubis and Ygg are both moving house, so they are pretty busy as well, the others are fair game.

Hope this helps to some degree. It's been pretty inconvenient and has affected us all in some way: PMs, post counts, feedback etc. We're all in this together guys and girls.

As always, thanks to the awesome guys at RWI for giving us this space (and a pretty cool forum in general)

I wasnt affected but now i can't log in

I get the Vbulletin database error

Edit: i can login now

I'm effed

I get the database error message. I have refreshed, cleared cookies used another internet provider and I can't log in. Can anyone give me a helping hand.

Try using this link. http://www.repgeek.com/

Make sure you delete the old one and replace/refresh once you have established connection.

can't login. when I try it gives me the "Thank you for logging in bduares, click here if your browser does not automatically redirect you" message" then goes straight back to login screen. At the bottom of the pages is a white database error
