Hi,
A quick question about WU, can you send foreign currency? ie If a dealer wants US dollars can i send the dollars and WU will convert it and take out the nessecary GBP from my bank or do i have to work out the conversion rate and send the right amount of GBP? Hope that makes sense. Thanks |

They will ask you what type of currency do you want them to receive.

Better to get a sum in the local currency from the dealer unless the local currency is $ WU conversion rates are murderously expensive.
WU will not send amount in $ to anywhere they support the local currency so sending a $ amount will incur 2x conversions If you are paying online through WU you have no choice but to use their rates

I would suggest Money Gram... cheaper and just as effective.
