So the first high end rep that I got was the hublot BB Asia 7750 movement (not sure which factory its from as I was very new to the rep world). Now the problem I had from day 1 was its timekeeping. It was is horrible. It looses around 5 minutes in 3 days.

Second, was that after a month or so (and it wasn't my daily wearer), the chrono stop resetting at 12... it now stops between 12 o clock and 1 o clock permanently. Once or twice when somebody was checking my watch out it even reset randomly at 3 o clock.

So after this experience I decided never to go into chronos or other complications in reps and just stick to simple date and time watches.... however then while looking around I came across the Hublot BB V6.5...so I hear from people it is a very good rep, so I'm assuming the problems I faced don't happen with the V6.5

So can owners or people who have had experience with the V6.5 please give some feedback regarding my two concerns that I have mentioned above.....also I have read around that the Asia 7750 movement in general is prone to breakdowns.... what do you guys have to say about that? How long have ur reps v6.5 lasted without problems?

Thanks in advance for your responses

The more complications, the more possible issues.
I use my chronos all the time and rarely have a problem. Reps have come a long way and even gens have problems with the chronos sometimes.
You probably bought a very cheap rep and its hard to compare it with the stuff that is out there today.
The 6.5 is a solid rep and you will have the same chrono problems or no problems at all. It's impossible to predict the future of your watch, but overall the 6.5 is solid in every aspect.

This is my ice bang v6.5
Bought about 1yr ago and no problem at all. It's my daily beater, run smooth and keeping good time.
    Pic taken last month.

I also had not any problems with my HBB v6.5 its accurate within 1-2 sec a day, never got it serviced or anything. Chrono resets like at day one to 12 o´clock. If your a7750 makes problems get it serviced for about 200$ or so or get a fresh new eta for about 350 wich will hold up long time. The HBB v6.5 is a solid watch, if you look closely in QC pics expecially on the movement side, you won´t get any problems.

I heard that only the modified a7750 for daytonas make problems due to 6 o´clock second hand position.

i would not choose the A7750 version because the thickness is to high + incorrect bezel and other issues.

You have proof that the V6 is thicker than gen? As far as I'm concerned, it's one of the most accurate reps aside from a stupid thing like bezel teeth that no one will even see.

I'm pretty sure he was referring to the Rolex Daytona I had mentioned... [emoji6]
